TORONTO – Quarterback Ricky Ray underwent successful surgery this morning to repair the torn labrum in his right (throwing) shoulder as well as a small tear in his right rotator cuff. The procedure was performed in Cleveland, Ohio by doctors at Cleveland Clinic. Ray will begin rehabilitative therapy immediately and doctors expect that he will fully recover. Normal rehabilitation time is approximately 6 months. Ray is expected to report on time for 2015 training camp.

Ricky Ray is the East Division nominee for the CFL Most Outstanding Player award for the second consecutive season. He will travel to Vancouver, B.C. later this week for the CFL Awards on Thursday, November 27 during the 102nd Grey Cup Festival.
